Which sentence is correct

Taking a physics class helped me in calculus.

Taking a physics class helped me later in calculus.
Taking a physics class helped me later when I took a calculus class.

Taking a physics class has helped me in calculus.
Taking a physics class has helped me later in calculus.
Taking a physics class has helped me later when I took a calculus class.
