Which sentence?

Which sentence is correct / proper when referring to a specific document?

1. A copy of the Assignment between X and Y is attached hereto.

2. A copy of the Assignment from X to Y is attached hereto.

Hello Zenos If this is assignment as in 'legal document', I believe the usual form is 'assignment between X and Y'. Happy to be put right by others, though, as there well may be variations. MrP

If this is assignment as in 'legal document', I believe the usual form is 'assignment between X and Y'.
