Which preposition is correct?

Which preposition is natural?
The water feels hotter to/on my back than to/on my hands.

If the food feels hot to/on your lips, it is too hot to give to your baby.

Thank you

Hi I think all of those are good. We tend, slightly, to use 'to' if it is a part of the body that usually senses things (rather than 'on', if it is just a sensation in another part of the body) ... - The water feels hotter on my back than it does to my hands - If the food feels hot to your lips, it is too hot to give to your baby - I felt the warmth of the sun on my legs But it's a very slight difference - either preposition works ok Dave
