Which preposition?

Hello

One of the references made ..... the legendary King Arthur is found in the collection of heroic death songs attributed ...... the 6th century poet Aneirin.

Which prepositions should I prefer for the blanks above? I think second one requres "to" preposition. Can I use "to" for the first one? Or can I use by and for in this context?
