Which preposition?

Dear Teachers,

If I want to say that someone gives us faith in times of tribulations and tests, but I’d like to omit “in times”, do I say “faith for tribulations and tests” or “faith to tribulations and tests” (or something different)? Could you tell me, please? Thanks.
