things is the direct object. You need "to which".

There was a long thread on this years ago. I'll never be able to find it now. The majority felt that the to was absolutely necessary. I ran out of arguments to the contrary!

Nddad I think "which" is correct because there's no object of "give" in the sentence.

Whether or not we need the "to" is a separate argument from the business about objects. As Philip said, the object of "to give" is "things." (In this sentence, it's "suits.")
