Which or that

This section discusses the range of strengths and limitations of the experiment and discusses a range of improvements that (which) could improve the reliability of results.

Both are OK. Personally I prefer "that".

The "discusses the range ... and discusses a range" repetition is noticeable and is not great stylistically.

I think "examines the strengths and limitations" should suffice. I'm not sure you need "range".

"improvements that could improve" is repetitious
