Which or That?

"My teacher gave me an A today. One of many reasons WHICH/THAT make my heart grow fonder of school everyday"

Top answer

The logic of this does not seem right. The "reason" does not make your heart grow fonder, the A grade does. Also, "everyday" should be "every day".

The logic of this does not seem right. The "reason" does not make your heart grow fonder, the A grade does. Also, "everyday" should be "every day". I suggest:

"My teacher gave me an A today — one of many reasons (why) my heart grows fonder of school every day."

(Some people don't like "why" here, but I don't object to it.)
