Which or that?

What is the difference between using 'which' and 'that'? I am not sure if I should have said "that" instead of "which" in this sentence:

St Michael’s was eventually sold, and the majority of the objects which my family found inside were sent to an antique dealer

Thanks in advance,
Emma
