Which option is the correct one, please ?
Please, could you check which option below is the correct one?
1)
a) TV can also be violent, dangerous, and controls our lives;
(or)
b) TV can also be violent, dangerous, and control our lives.
2) It is said that TV let (or lets ?) people more conscious, tolerant and peaceful, but sometimes, it encourages others (is it OK to write others here?) to be hopeless, frustrated and violent due to (or because of) the amount of violence broadcasted.

2).lets(singular noun,did you notice you write "it" as the subject of the followed sentence),others(should be ok here),due to/because of(both are fine,both are followed by noun).
