Which sentence looks/sounds better?

Six calendar days before the actual date of the undertaking’s transfer, the bank will stop to accept submissions.

or

The bank will stop to accept submissions six calendar days before the actual date of the undertaking’s transfer.

The second one, if you change "to accept" to "accepting." I'm assuming that "actual date" adds means something different from just "date."
