which one to use "of" or "with"?

I have objects and they got ranks.

which one is the correct way to start a sentence:
"objects of the same rank........"
or
"objects with the same rank......"

The variable sum is used to save the sum of 2 objects with the same rank
or
The variable sum is used to save the sum of 2 objects of the same rank
