Which one should I use, their or they?

Becaues of THEIR going there, they got the chance.
Because of THEY going there, they got the chance.

Someone tell me I should use THIER, but I found this sentence in news

China BEING Poisoned by Its Food Industry, Says Author

If what that guy tell me is true, why here is China but not China's
