Which one of these is correct english?

I'm just curious which one of these is correct:

"Who is the user who does painting?"
"Who is the user that does painting?"

Hi, I'd prefer the one without repetition: Who is the user that does painting.. But i'd write it: Which user paints? Who is the user that paints?

But i'd write it:

Which user paints? Who is the user that paints?
