Which one is the most appropriate sentence in this context?

I would like to write the two sentences below. There are some sentences between them. Please note that I treat "reception" as an uncountable noun, and "RAKE" is a kind of signal reception. Could anyone tell me which one of 1), 2), 3), 4) and 5) is most appropriate? Thanks a lot in advance.
