which one is right In Charge or In-Charge

It is not correct to say the 'The In Charge' or 'In-Charge'. Below are example sentences.

You can write to a title (Store Manager) if absolutely necessary. I personally would call to ask the person's name

We usually consider that a 'department' has a 'manager', so you could just write to

The Manager, Department ABC

Or, as Barbara suggests, you could perhaps call the department and ask them to tell you the manager's name.

Here "Whome" means the conserned person who is responsible for the particular matter. Or in other word if I dont know the designation of that person than what should I write to him.

Dear Sir,

In Charge (with space in between) represent a part of a sentence. Like ' Officer in Charge'.

But when used with a hypon (In- charge, it represent a designation / post as in 'the In-charge, Materials Management'. Its stand alone.

So the correct usage for the above query is In-charge.
