Which one is right?

I want to write a cover letter to a firm.

I want to tell firstly that i have no reference. So i am not writing with any reference.

So how could i tell that i have no reference?

a I am writing out of any references.

b I am writing without any references.

c I am not writing in any references.

Hi,

B is correct grammar, as Doll notes. However, if this is part of your actual letter, do you really need to say this at all? You could just start directly to explain why you are writing and what you want. eg I would like to apply for .. . .
