It's grammatically correct. If I'm being fussy, I find "relocate ... at 8 places ..." slightly unsatisfactory, possibly because it is not clear whether "at 8 places" refers to the original places or the new places. I think you can just say "Please relocate the eight sockets in the sitting

I guess so, but the idea of relocating to a location seems slightly repetitious. "sitting area" does not mean exactly the same as "sitting room".
