Which one is correct expression?

In the follwing sentences below, which answer do you think is correct?

Hi, As I think you know, we expect people to post their own answers first and to ask about areas of uncertainty, rather than ask us to give the answer. That said, however, I can't imagine using the verb "apprehend" in these sentences. Perhaps it's used in another dialect of English.

As I think you know, we expect people to post their own answers first and to ask about areas of uncertainty, rather than ask us to give the answer.

That said, however, I can't imagine using the verb "apprehend" in these sentences. Perhaps it's used in another dialect of English. The only way I could imagine answering as B with a similar meaning to what I think is intended is "Tha
