I want to learn correct answer

E.q.= The storm caused many trees ....... (fall down )
answer 1 the storm caused many trees to fallen down
answer 2 the storm caused many trees to fall down

please help me

I have a couple of questions.

I want to learn the correct answers.

E.q.= The storm caused many trees ....... (fall down )

answer 1 The storm caused many trees to fallen. Not correct. After 'cause'. you need the base or infinitive form of the verb, which is to fall, not to fallen.
