which one is correct?

He didn't believe me I am tenjing. Or He didn't believe me I was tenjing. I think both are possible right?

But here the 'that clause' still exists. It's not like l was tenjing and I am no longer tenjing now. So, both should be possible, right? ?

That is a run-on sentence. It could be: He didn't believe that I am/was Tenjing ~ He didn't believe me when I said I am Tenjing.
