Which one is correct?

1a) I was very relieved that I found my 50 bucks that I had lost

or

1b)I was very relieved that I had found my 50 bucks that I (had) lost.

If I regress the verbs in the sentence below, I'll get 1b-

I'm very relieved that I have found my 50 bucks that I lost

2)

I'm delighted that I have done my homework.

I was delighted that I had done/ I did my homework.

Thanks.

I'd reword the homework sentence as "I'm delighted to have done my homework" unless you want to suggest that someone else did your homework for you.

This has some issue in the semantics. If we had lost something, it is gone for good. So when we found the $50, we need to say, "...........the $50 which I thought I had lost".

Is it wrong to use the 'that'-clause instead of a 'when'-clause?

another eg-

He was relieved that she hadn't recognized him.

He was relieved when she didn't recognize him.

How about 'he was delighted to have done his homework'?

Does it work with past simple as well?

Thanks for all the help.
