Which one is correct?

Hi,

I just joined this group and looking forward to learn and improve my English. I'm starting with a naive question:

What is more correct: have got or have gotten?

Thanks!
P.S: if someone finds any mistakes in my post, please feel free to mention it. trying to learn as much as possible.

We really need more context to answer your question properly. Myself, I try to avoid the use of the two verbs together.

Ok. How would you say this: i haven't got any time for this job or i haven't gotten any time for this job? or can this sentence be structured differently?

I haven't got any time for this job. = I do not have any time to do this job. (Both American and British.)

I haven't gotten any time for this job. = I have not been able to find any time to do this job. Or, = No one has given me the time necessary for me to do this job. (gotten is American, not British).

Unless you are looking for a special meaning

Thanks Calif. I somehow like your second example more.
