Which one is correct?

Hello.
Can you tell me please which one is correct and why?
It is time we turn on the central heating.It gets/ It`s getting colder every day.
I can see from what you say that your mornings are very busy.But what do you do/ are you doing in the afternoon?
Normally/ previously we get in touch with customers by post.

And I have another problem,I don`t know the difference in meaning in these two sentences:
Jack is noisy.
Jack`s being noisy.

As for the difference between these sentences, Jack is noisy means that he's a typically noisy person. However Jack is being noisy means that he is not normally noisy, but this time he is turning out to be a noisy person. And the second one also has a sense of dissatisfaction or a sense of complain.

First sentence means what do you usually do in the afternoon and the second what are you doing now,or in this afternoon?Am I right??
