Without reference to any context, it seems that your original sentence would only really make sense if it's an interdepartmental order. Please supply one loose cushion for every armchair. I'm not sure if this sounds natural though, s

I agree with PBF. The proper number of cushions were supplied, that is, made available at the site or sites. They may or may not be "installed" (thrown) into the armchairs. The number supplied is important: one for each.

We supplied one cheeseburger for each member of the team - although they'll probably end up in each member.
