Which One Is Closer To Natural English?

Chinese lyrics translated into English

version 1

Hey, let me change the ending

Yet I can cover it up only a short while

Don't obsess or say sorry

Loser just treats winner

Better not meet rather than cry on parting

version 2

Hey, let me change the ending

Even if I cover everything up, it'll just be a short time

No need to be too obsessive. No need to say sorry

Winning or losing only makes the loser treat the others to a meal

It's better to not see each other than to cry upon separation

Would you tell me which one is closer to natural English?

I prefer version 2, but I'd say "on parting" instead of "on separation."

I like the first version for its simplicity, since they're lyrics.

Are you open to any suggestions for changes, maybe?

I was just wondering if any of these might also fit the meaning:

Line 2 - I can only hide it for so long.

Line 3 - Don't obsess or apologise.

Line 4 - No one ever wins in a fight.

Line 5 - Parting is such sweet sorrow, l'd rather not
