Which one is better? Sincere appreciation or deep appreciation

Hi there! Can you help me answer this question? My friend said that I shouldn't use sincere with appreciation. It must be go with the adjectives such as better, clear, deep, etc. He showed me the online dictionary http://www.ozdic.com/collocation-dictionary/appreciation. I'm so confused about this.

I don't see anything wrong with "sincere appreciation". The dictionary that you link to is just giving examples. They can't list every possible adjective that can precede "appreciation" -- it would be too much.
