Which one doesn't belong?

no matter despite even though however

My choice is no matter.


1) Despite we tried hard, we lost the game.

2) Even though we tried hard, we lost the game.

3) We tried hard; however, we lost the game.

4) No matter how hard we tried, we lost the game.
