Which one describes books that focusing more on bioregional issues?

Thank you, everyone. This is a great place. I am so happy I find here. I have another question thought, "books on issues that are more or less specifically bioregional", and "books that speak directly to bioregional concerns" , which one describes books that focusing more on bioregional issues? Could anybody help me?

Nobody answers me. I am not sure if I have explained the question clearly.... Help me please.

Jane, you realize people are volunteers who do this in their free time? Getting excited about not having a response after only a couple hours is pointless. Two hours is far too early to be sure you will never see a response. Be patient. Bumping your thread will cause some people to be annoyed.

Anyway, why not use your more clear version: "books that focus on bioregional issues"?

Hi Barbara, I am sorry, I just worried about if I have explained my question clearly, and thought nobody answers me because no one can understand my poor sentence. The two sentences in the quotation marks are not written by me. I quote them from a book, and couldn't understand the difference between them.

I don't see a big difference.

Hi Barbara, thank you for answering me. Could you be kind to tell me which sentence you feel more specifically describes books that focus on bioregional issues?

Both "issues that are specifically bioregional" and "speak[ing] directly to bioregional concerns" both mean they talk about bioregional issues/concerns.

I suppose the second phrase could mean it focuses on other issues, but still talks about bioregional concerns. The first says it's specifically on those issues.

But we are talking a 49.5%/50.5% difference.

Thank you, Barbara, I also feel the first sentence is a little stronger, because I feel the word "issue"(in the first sentence) is a little stronger than "concern". Is my guessing also make a sense?

Replying to your own post may actually make it less likely that other people will look at it and answer it. This is because it no longer appears with "0" replies in the main forum list.

Hi GPY, I get it now. I am new here, and not know the rules. Thank you for the tips.
