Which one could be a suitable explanation? (9-6)

Hi teachers,
Which one could be a suitable explanation for 'grab' in the following sentence?
a) take him by force
b) grasp him suddenly and unpleasantly
c) take hold of him in an unpleasant way

Baxter tried to grab him but almost lost his balance.

Thanks in advance.

The scant, inadequate context you have provided (hint, hint) suggests that it is none of those. d) save him from falling by seizing him quickly e) capture him suddenly with Baxter's hands

Hi ennon,
Couldn't it have been worse, could it? I want to apologize for what I did.
This is the text:
“That’s Coke!” Baxter shouted. “He isn’t going to get away this time!” Baxter jumped out of the car even before Halls stopped it, and ran after Cok

Thinking SpainI supposed it's letter 'e' then, isn't it? Is it poosible letter 'a' too?
I think so. Baxter tried to take hold of him.

Hi ennon,
Thank you for your reply.
Do you mean both are possible, 'e' and 'a'?

It need not be unpleasant, rough or forceable. To grab someone is to get ahold of him suddenly and surely, probably with a hand or hands.

Hi ennon,
Thank you for your reply. Yes, I've looked at some other dictionaries, and it doesn't have to be, 'unpleasant, rough or forceable.
