Which of these sentences are correct to write at the end of my email to my firend

1-I will keep in touch with you 2- I will be in touch with you

I want to say that in future I will contact him again

When talking about the future in general, we usually include the, as I just did.

For me, both in future and in the future refer to a time after the present, but the former has an additional meaning of 'from this moment on'. It can suggest a change or new direction. I would have used in the future in in the first response in this thread.
