Which of these sentences are correct?

1.) You are the best teacher I ever had.
2.) You are the best teacher I've ever had.
3.) Thank you also for all the materials and the links you gave me.
4.) They are a great help to keep on practising.
5.) They are a great help in continuing practising.

Anonymous Which of these sentences are correct? Only 4 is a bit suspect. The rest are OK.

Only 4 is a bit suspect. The rest are OK. 'are a great help' followed by an infinitive doesn't strike me as a particularly good combination even though it's understandable.
