Which of these sentences are correct?

Hi,

I am a bit confused about following sentences:

1. Does your washing machine work in the same way my washing machine does?
2. Does your washing machine work the way my washing machine does?
3. Does your washing machine work the same way as my washing machine does?

or

similarly,

4. I want to speak English the way as native English speakers do.
5. I want to speak English in the same way English speakers do.

Which is/are correct?

Thank you,
Harry.

I'm sorry I didn't notice it. I think 'As' is not required there.

I would say that is more natural. (It's optional.)

All sentences don't need to have prepositions "in" or "as" or "that". It's optional to use prepositions?
0
That can never be a preposition. It's optional when it isn't the subject of a clause. For example, in I told him I would be late, the word I is a subject, so that can be left out. On the other hand, in This is the computer that froze on me, the word that is a subject, so it is required.

Okay. Now, understood.

Thank you.
