Which of the question below are correct!

1. We saw many dogs come out.
2. We saw many dogs coming out.
3. We saw many dogs came out.

My teacher said the 1st and 2nd are correct. But I don't understand why? Can anyone explain it to me? The first sentence has two main verbs "saw" and "come" but with no conjunction in between.

The grammar of 'see' and 'hear' allows these constructions. These are called catenative verbs. You may want to use Google to find more information about catenative verbs.

The sentences can be revised to require a conjunction. But they become longer sentences.

'Many dogs came out, and we saw them (come)(coming) out.'

1. We saw many dogs come out.
2. We saw many dogs coming out.

The bare infinitive or the gerund (verb+ing) can follow certain verbs of perception (see, hear, look, feel, watch, etc.)
