Well, I didn't invest much time for this problem. First, are there any students studying none of them? I have no idea if I did something totally wrong, but I assume there are 16 students studying all three languages?

It's just the total numbers of students which are studying the languages:

English: 40 - 8 -6
French: 30 - 8 - 5
Spanish: 25 - 6 - 5

But I see now that somewhere is a small fault, I'm not sure about. but according to my understanding you should include these 2 students studying all three languages... But you don't know them so... hmm... Perhaps I'm making a mistake.
