which makes it wrong ?

Hi , i must find out which underlined part make the sentence wrong. But i cant find it,
Tom is offen late for work, that makes his boss angry .
And could u please explain me about that kind of structure ? ( s+v, that ....)

oh, yes, thank you alot, i've remembered that : "that' can't follow a comma, we can use "which" , only.
