Which is why it is cryptocurrency

With "which is why it is cryptocurrency" it seems like a word is missing here, in order to get a better understanding. In other words, I think that the meaning here is as following: in order for this sofware to be considered as cryptocurrency" but cryptocurrency is not a sofware... it's digital currency.

Hence I would like to get more ideas of how to understand this part "which is why it is cryptocurrency", thanks Emotion: smile

There is no person or institution that has the ability to disable the system or influence its work. Software (certain sofware that has to do with cryptocurrency) meets all these criteria, which is why it is cryptocurrency. (Video about cryptocurrency)

(Note that the noun software is uncountable. We don't say 'a software'.)
