Which is the right tense that should be used after "Its time or its about time"

Which of the following sentence is grammatically correct:

"Its time the people gave him the resepect he deserves"

OR

"Its time the people give him the respect he deserves"

and also, how can the same sentence be written using "ITS HIGH TIME" and "ITS ABOUT TIME"

plz help

And also in my post I have used "Which of the following sentence is correct?" I think that is wrong, and it should be "Which of the following sentences is correct"

Am I right?

And if i am right, is it applicable everywhere, i mean to say, is it applicable wherever we use "Which of the following......"

Right you are. I noticed that but I didn't mention it because the mistake wasn't in the sentences you were asking about. If you single out one or more of a group by using which of, you do need a plural
