Which is the 'odd one out' in each group & why?

In the first group, all five are grammatical, but 1, 2, 4, and 5 are possessives (baby's, nation's, etc.), while 3 is a contraction, "The teacher is absent."


Similarly, in the second group all five are grammatical, but 1, 2, 3, and 5 are passive forms (The plane was hijacked...", "The tourists were attacked...", etc.), while 4 is an active form "The trains collided..."
