Which is the correct answer?

____ I like her songs, I do not agree with the way she leads her life.
A. Much as
B. However much
Both A and B seem fine to me (correct me if i'm wrong).

Only A sounds correct to me. "much as" means although or " despite the fact that" so much as and however much aren't normally interchangeable.
