Which is correct, "the school" or "to home"?

Which sentence is not correct?

a) After school, I catch the train to go home.

b) After the school, I will be catching the train home.

c) After school, I am catching the train home.

d) After school, I catch the train to home.

Only one of theses sentences is incorrect. Sentence a) and c) seem fine, but sentence b) and d) seem odd. It's the article "the" before the word "school" and the preposition "to" before the word "home" that are bothering me..
