Which is correct?: "I have no answer to/for that question"? If both are possible, then what is the difference between them?

'To' is correct in BrE, and much more common than 'for'. There appears to be no difference in meaning.

"For" is passable, but it's "to" that sounds natural to me.

I am most familiar with the use of "to" in that situation, but "for" is also possible.

This use of "to" draws in the idea of connection or matching, thus:
I don't have an answer that [connects with / goes with / matches] that question.
