Which is correct, become or becomes?

can someone tell me which way is correct please for this sentence.

We will keep your resume on file should this position become available in the future or becomes available in the future.

It depends on what you really want to say, or appear to be saying! Do you want to say what you mean, or obfuscate it? Or, do you need to sound formal? Here are some other ways:

"We will keep your resume and refer to it as soon as this position becomes available."

"We will keep your resume for if the position becomes available."

Depends slightly on meaning. Change the modal 'should' to 'if' and you can use becomes. But, if you keep the should you have to use become since you can't conjugate the verb after a modal. Either way the meaning is the same. Should sounds more formal.
