Which is correct?

Oxford dictionary says we can use "recommend" in the following way: recommend somebody to do something We'd recommend you to book your flight early.

Longman Dictonary says we can't use 'recommend' in this way. It says: ? Don’t say: I recommend her to speak to a lawyer.
