Shall we take up this task? This is more meaning ful

Shall we take up this task is correct and more meaningful.It means that u r taking any task to do with your will.
Shall we take this task up- It means you are taking any task from bottom to top like first floor to second floor.
What I understood ,I tried to give u best possible answer, May I am wrong also

1. Shall we take up this take?
2. Shall we take it up?
