Which is correct?

Which is correct, "I have the guts to say that to his face", "I have the guts to say that on his face" and "I have the guts to say that in his face"? If all or two of them are possible then what is the difference between them?

Thanks.

Almost always you say something to someone's face. "on" is wrong here. "in someone's face" is a valid expression in itself, but is not an obvious choice after "say". If used, I guess it would suggest putting your face close to someone else's face and saying something agressively to them.
