Which is correct?

Which word is correct?
I've set out a goal to make it to the NBA. I'm in the NBA. I'm providing for my family. I am successful in that right/respect/regard.

"respect" and "regard" are both OK. "right" does not work Because you have now achieved your goal, it's better to say " I set out a goal to make it to the NBA".

Because you have now achieved your goal, it's better to say "I set out a goal to make it to the NBA".
