Usually, the natural order is " time and place ". So I'd prefer:
AnonymousI organized the party for Thursday evening in Appleton, Wisconsin .

I don't see that at all, Dimsum.

The party's at my house at nine is just as common as The party's at nine at my house. It depends on which piece of information the speaker is thinking to emphasize.
