Which is correct?

I had a difficult time in the past (about 10  years ago) and I want to say thank you to a person who supported me during that time. Which is correct? (or is either of them correct?)

- Thank you for supporting me in my difficult time.
- Thank you for having supported me in my difficult time.

Thank you!
