Depends on your meaning.

I'm guessing, "But still I made it drop."
(infinitive, "[to] drop")

How do you make something drop? You knock it on the floor? (There are more natural ways to say that.)
But still I made it fall. (an accident)

I was trying to make the kite rise (soar), but still I made it drop.

The construction is to make (something) {verb}, with the verb in its base form (without an ending).

made the noise stop
makes my arm ache
make you want more

But to make something drop is to drop it, so it seems that you want to say "But I dropped it anyway".
